Siri Struggles With Scottish Accents

Scottish iPhone Siri voice recognition problems

Looks like they're getting along just fine, eh?

Siri is the wonderful voice recognition feature on the Apple iPhone 4S.  It’s useful for sending and reading text messages.  Or finding things close by, or contemplating the meaning of life.  Or, you know… other things.

And it’s simple!  Say a command and Siri responds.  Usually quite well.  …Usually.

What happens if you have a strong accent?  Well, apparently if you’re Scottish, Siri might get a bit… frustrating.  See what happens when a poor Scot just wants a damn sandwich and a beer.

Can somebody please just get this guy a fuckin’ Jammy Dodger?

Check out Street Carnage for a bit of backstory on this video.
