You probably know Sara Bereilles from “Love Song.” And you probably know Jonah Hill from Superbad. Or Get Him to the Greek. But you should really know him from Cyrus. Now these two have joined forces for the music video for Sara Bereilles’s song “Gonna Get Over You.”
The song is pretty good, but the real star here is the aesthetic that Jonah Hill brings to the video as a director. It is so fun and cute and yet still has a bit of edge to it. It’s really interesting to watch because even though the video doesn’t feature Hill or his style of delivering lines, you can sense his style and sensibilities at work here. It’s definitely worth a watch.
