Great movies come from great scripts. That’s just how things work. But that doesn’t mean what is written on the page is the end of the story. Far from it. Often times, actors will improvise lines that feel right to them in the moment. This can lead to a brilliant moment that wasn’t in the original script.
Mewlists has created a video that list the 25 greatest unscripted scenes in film history. I was blown away by how many iconic scenes and moments were improvised by the actors.

I absolutely love this video. Rather than make me like these scene less, I love them even more than I did before. And I have so much respect for the actors in these scenes and directors for allowing them the freedom to create these moments.
