Sweet Short: ‘No Robots’

The no robots allowed sign from the animated short film No RobotsYesterday I posted a short film that shows what the world might be like after an apocalyptic event.  Today I thought I would present a short film that shows how to avoid the apocalypse altogether.  Or, at least, one of many possible apocalypses.  The solution?  Banishment.

This is the subject of the short film No Robots, made by San Jose State University students Kimberly Knoll and Yunghan Chang.  In the world of their film, robots have been banned.  But this isn’t the banishment I was talking about as a solution.

Check out the film.

We need to banish our prejudices and our hatred if we want to prevent a bleak future.  I thought that was a good message that was far more uplifting than yesterday’s film.  It seemed like a good idea to balance it out.

Thanks for this goes to Laughing Squid.
