Tyler Carter’s short film Dream Giver is one that looks like it could be pretty creepy at first, seeing as there is a fairly creepy looking creature sneaking into children’s bedrooms at night. But as the name implies, this is a Dream Giver, a creature that delivers good dreams to children whilst they lie sleeping.
The animation is also absolutely stunning. More so when you realize this was done as a student project for BYU’s Center for Animation.

I love the concept of cracking open an egg to release a dream. There is something so wonderfully mythical about that.
