A supercut is a massive compilation highlighting a very specific element of movies. Usually this is used to point out an overused cliché. Sometimes it is used to highlight the idiosyncrasies of a particular artist, usually an actor. These supercuts are usually used to criticize but can also be a celebration.
I love a good monster movie. When they are done well, they can create great scenes of tension and dread. Even when they are giant. And a really good monster movie will answer questions about humanity. Think about King Kong. So, for this week’s supercut I present Cinemassacre’s compilation of the top 10 giant movie monsters.
