Though my most recent projects have been shot digitally, my heart lies with film. So it has been sad for me to watch Kodak’s fall. This short documentary tracks the rise and fall of Kodachrome, the world’s first color film, manufactured by Kodak. While the documentary is very informative about how Kodachrome works and what separates from all the other types of film stock out there, what Xander Robin does best in his film is show off the beauty of the format.
Watch it and enjoy how wonderful these images are.
A big thanks to Laughing Squid for this.
