Anaheim Ducks: Misspelled Names And Twitter Handles

Corey Perry, Ryan Getzlaf, Saku Koivu, and Teemu Selanne of the Anaheim Ducks celebrate Perry's hat trick and 50th goal of the season on April 6th, 2011 at the Honda Center

Last night I went to the Anaheim Ducks game at the Honda Center for my birthday.  It was awesome.  How awesome?  The Ducks scored 6 goals against the division rival San Jose Sharks.  That included a goal by Cam Fowler.  And four assists by Ryan Getzlaf.  George Parros got into a fight that left his opponent bleeding profusely.  And Corey Perry got his third hat trick of the season.  And did I mention his third goal of the night was his 50th of the season?  Yeah.  That awesome.  MVPerry.

So in honor of last night’s win, I wanted to reintroduce our post covering the Ducks Dedication videos.  I even was so bold as to include an @ mention to one of the Ducks’ star forwards Bobby Ryan (from Cherry Hill, New Jersey).  Only I got his twitter handle wrong.  I put @bryan9 instead of @b_ryan9.  I mean, of all people, I misspelled Bobby Ryan’s twitter handle.  I can spell Lubomir Visnovsky, Francois Beauchemin, and Jarkko Ruutu, but I get Bobby Ryan wrong?  Stupid underscore.  I discussed my error with Pierce, which of course led to a CSI moment
