Now I’m not trying to say my Canon EOS 7D DSLR will outperform any camera out there. And I’m definitely not getting into a Canon vs Nikon debate. I started getting crap for that before I even got my camera.
No, what I’m trying to say is that my camera has an attribute that makes it special to Pierce and I. Let me explain.
It started off with me just telling Pierce how excited I was that I had a large CF card that could store more images than the camera could comprehend.
You see, Pierce has had ridiculously bad luck with technology lately. First his TV died. Then he dropped his iPhone and shattered his screen. Poor guy, right? Well then he lost his iPad. But at least he could still play games on his PS3! Oh. No, see that’s not working either.
So we were both cautious about letting him even look at my new Canon 7D. But he did, and, well…
+7Defense? My 7D has +7Defense? How BRILLIANT (and how amazingly NERDY) is that?! And when Pierce noted that my camera has such a high defensive rating, I thought to myself, “Maybe I should name my camera after a great NHL defenseman. But who?”
I have a camera. Its name is Cam Fowler. It is a Canon 7D. It has +7Defense. Wouldn’t you agree that I have the best camera ever?

ATTN Fellow Readers: This post is less about a Canon 7D review, and more about two gay lovers giddy over a piece of technology they have no understanding about.
