The Ambiguously Gay Duo Go Live Action

The title card from the opening sequence of The Ambiguously Gay Duo cartoon sketch on Saturday Night LiveThere have been quite a few recurring sketches in the history of Saturday Night Live, both live action and animated.  Arguably the most famous animated sketch is The Ambiguously Gay Duo, created by Robert Smigel and J.J. Sedelmaier.  I have always found the sketches to be quite funny.  I mean yes, there really is only one joke that they play out over and over.  But they do it so damn well.

In this particular sketch, the duo’s world become live action and an incredible cast assembled to bring these characters to life.  It’s quite impressive.  See for yourself.
