Olly Moss’s Paper Cuts Art Show at Gallery 1988

The title card from the Threadless video about Olly Moss's art show Paper Cuts at Gallery 1988 in Los AngelesA little while back I talked about some awesome street art I found on the streets of Los Angeles. The truth is Los Angeles has a pretty awesome art scene, particularly Gallery 1988, the absolute best art venue for a pop culture obsessed geek like me. They have done entire exhibits of art inspired by Back to the Future. So, yeah, pretty awesome.

Olly Moss is an artist that has been pretty popular on the internet for a few years now. And with good reason. His artwork is absolutely incredible. Minimalistic, pop culture infused, brilliance. His first show ever was held at Gallery 1988 and carried the title “Paper Cuts.”

Here’s a video that gives you a look at how brilliant it was.
