Amazing Light Paintings By Dennis Calvert

Close-up of Dennis Calvert's light painting Event HorizonLight painting is a photographic art that involves using moving lights to create shapes during extreme long exposures.  This can be done with dedicated equipment or a flashlight or even a candle and matches.  The results of this technique can be absolutely amazing.  Magical, in fact.  Because often when I look at really good examples of this art form, I am in awe, wondering how the creators managed to make something so beautiful and mysterious.

Take a look at these amazing photos, created by Dennis Calvert.  They are some of the most amazing photos I have ever seen.
